WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Spirit AeroSystems has entered a new arrangement with Boeing regarding repairs to the world 737 Max fleet.

The agreement expands Boeing’s Upkeep, Mend and Overhaul (MRO) footprint and company providing, especially nacelle and flight control repairs, for the international 737 Max fleet.

“Spirit is thrilled to be picked by Boeing World-wide Solutions as its world-wide associate for 737 Max aerostructures maintenance, including nacelles and flight control products and services,” explained Kailash Krishnaswamy, senior vice president of Aftermarket Providers for Spirit. “Over the past 3 decades, we have expanded from a single MRO middle in Wichita to 5 MRO facilities on 4 continents, which will let us to provide Boeing’s international shoppers domestically.”
