Railroad Crossing Repairs in Chapel Hill and Carrboro To Manifest This 7 days
April 19, 2022Function on wood railroad ties in two intersections in Chapel Hill and Carrboro will drive highway closures this week. The crossings to be repaired are at East Principal Road in Carrboro and on Eubanks Street in Chapel Hill.

Work on the Carrboro crossing will occur from Tuesday to Wednesday. The crossing is just earlier the intersection with Robeson Road and the break up with Weaver Street. The City of Chapel Hill recommends motorists use Freeway 54 as a detour. Signage will also be put close to the railroad crossing.
