Semi vehicles overturn on I-80 owing to large winds

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Semi vehicles are no match for the powerful winds in Nebraska on Thursday.

The Nebraska Condition Patrol stories various semi trucks have overturned on I-80 in central Nebraska due to the wind. Blowing dust is producing visibility issues for motorists also.

NSP suggests folks with substantial profile automobiles uncover a safe and sound area to park throughout these circumstances.

Wind are whipping out of the north/northwest about 35-40 mph. Wind gusts in Hastings reached 62 mph all over the midday hour on Thursday.
