BRUSSELS – Toyota is making ready a new Europe-specific automobile platform that will accommodate full-hybrid, plug-in hybrid and comprehensive-electrical powertrains, based on industry ailments and buyer preference.
The architecture will blend things of Toyota’s global compact platform (GA-C) and the EV-only e-TNGA system. E3 stands for for emotion, engagement and electrical power, Toyota Europe suggests.
